KATELLA AVE., Orange, California, 92867, United States Happy shooting.Octagon barrel, S/N 158133, overall good condition with good action and stock. And don’t dry fire it because it screws up the nipple. And some general advice make sure the ball is completely seated before every shot, and only use black powder or a substitute. As for cleaning, I use ballistol for initial cleaning of all the filth and I use wonder lube for protecting the barrel from rust. It also looks like it would fire patched round balls the best so try that. I always start at around 5 grains of goex fff bp and keep going up until I find the amount that is most accurate. As for shooting, it’s really hard to put too much powder in muzzleloaders since extra will just blow out the barrel if it doesn’t get burned. 11 is more common I believe so try that first. It looks to me like it uses #11 caps but since it’s a pistol maybe it uses #10.

Just look it over and make sure there are no cracks or bulges anywhere, and make sure it’s not missing any parts or anything like that.
#JUKAR SPAIN BLACK POWDER RIFLE VALUE PATCH#
When I get read to take em out to shoot I just swab out the barrel with a patch soaked in 90% isopropyl alcohol just in case I have a lot of the patch lube in there. I usually take a patch and liberally coat it with the patch lube and run it up and down putting a good coating inside the barrel. I usually use Birchwood Casey barricade rust protector on the outside barrels of my muzzle loaders, it seems to do pretty good, someone else may have something they like to use, but make sure you get the inside of the barrel protected good after cleaning it. Wipe it down with some sort of good oil, and take a patch with your favorite patch lube and put a nice heavy coat down the barrel after cleaning. Make sure to remove the nipple, and the screw on the side of the barrel that the nipple screws into, those can get seriously corroded if not cleaned properly after shooting. Like others have said take it apart clean it really good before shooting it. It’s fun to shoot but your probably only good for 7-10 yards to get any accuracy from it. I have the CVA version of that pistol, have had it since the 70’s.
